Jizhe Tao

I am a Master’s student in Wireless and Network Engineering at Northeastern University with a strong foundation in communication systems, wireless protocols, and network simulation. My technical experience spans from implementing reliable transport layer protocols (ABT, GBN, SR) in C++ to building Wi-Fi and CSMA network simulations in ns-3 and analyzing packet traces using Wireshark. During my undergraduate studies, I also worked on unmanned vehicle positioning using cellular network signals, where I applied Kalman filters and TDOA-based algorithms to achieve high-accuracy navigation. I’m passionate about applying wireless communication theory to practical simulation and testing, and I enjoy building, analyzing, and improving network systems under real-world conditions. My interests include IoT systems, 5G/6G networks, and intelligent wireless algorithms that enhance reliability and efficiency in complex environments.
