Business Development Manager @ Biocytogen

About

I am a cross-functional research partnerships & business development manager experienced in identifying, structuring, and executing partnerships with global pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, I serve as a trusted liaison between external partners and internal R&D, project management, and legal teams. I align scientific, operational, and commercial goals to deliver successful research programs. During my graduate school, I was an enthusiastic graduate researcher in Prof. Neal K. Devaraj's lab. I lead independent research projects in sphingolipid synthesis and self-assembly membrane synthesis using bio-conjugation reactions. Additionally, my project focused on novel therapeutic technologies, including multifunctional mRNA-carrying lipid nanoparticles (LNP) with cancer cell targeting abilities and high transfection capability. I am very interested in utilizing bio-conjugation reaction to design Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) with advanced targeting ability. I am also an active participant in the Jail Outreach Program, a collaborative initiative between UCSD students and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. I teach science classes at the Las Colinas Detention and Re-Entry Facility to make science and research accessible to underrepresented groups. Recently, I embraced the role of chair of the American Chemical Society San Diego section. My goal is to highlight and support women in chemical sciences and provide community support for underrepresented female scientists.
