Key Responsibilities • Oversee the team for designing & implantation of shared services setup (SSC) for centralizing the financial processes & Implementation of IFRS (IND AS). • Instrumental in automation of processes covering Identify, defining scope, document and implement the automation projects to ensure greater speed and accuracy of financial reporting. • Actively involved in monthly reporting covering key accounting processes – o Monitoring IGAAP Vs US GAAP reconciliation under parallel set of books in SAP o Monitoring of monthly closing calendar on PAN India basis, o Revenue Recognition, MIS reporting o Fixed Asset Closure & Reporting (including provisional capitalization & depreciation) o Supervising General Ledger accounting, Forex Accounting & Reconciliation Achievements • Automation of accounting processes (Revenue recognition, Prepaid Accounting, Centralized Accounts Payable, Multiple Ledger for IGAAP/USGAAP/IFRS Accounting), resulted in Centralization of activities, reduce manpower requirement by one-third (30 persons, save INR 24 million annualy) & speeding-up of monthly closing by 3 working days • Successful moved finance & accounting processes form legacy (standalone) system to ERP (SAP), more than 400 FI users, for this was nominated for star performer for 2010. (11 performers were identified from employee base of +4k employees) • Designed Finance Processes (Including SOP’s) relating to Accounts processes (AP/FA/GL).
