Jim was the lead Technical Architect for the Clinical Dashboard Programme. He developed the conceptual technical architecture and set of detailed requirements for the ASCC procurement. The programme successfully delivered 24 dashboards across 10 NHS trusts. Jim led the technical engagement, controlling the software and hardware budgets for the local deployments. He has also been leading the review and approval of many deliverables from the programmes supplier, including review/approval of fixed price work order packs. Jim has also had architecture responsibility for the HealthSpace and Summary Care Record systems during this period. Jim supported the Department of Health Informatics Technology Office team by running TOGAF 9 training and certification. The majority of the DHID architecture team are now certified. Prior to this Jim was a key member of the Spine Technical Architecture team from 2006 through 2008, taking specific responsibility for the Spine Directory Service (SDS) and the Secondary Uses Service (SUS) Data Warehouse domains.
