As Head of Astro Studios, I lead the core production engine of Malaysia’s leading broadcaster, Astro — uniting three powerhouse divisions: Astro Productions, Astro Sound+Vision, and Astro Design+Motion. In this expanded role, I focus on: Setting the strategic direction of Astro Studios, driving diversification across production capabilities, technology adoption, and global partnerships. Positioning Astro Studios as a regional leader in virtual production (XR), advanced broadcast solutions, and end-to-end production services. Championing transformation by reimagining workflows, optimizing resources, and unlocking new revenue streams. Expanding Astro Studios’ reach with services spanning live sports, entertainment, remote productions, post-production, design, and immersive XR experiences. My mission is to evolve Astro Studios beyond traditional production support — building it into a world-class production hub that drives growth, sets new industry benchmarks, and strengthens Astro’s impact in the global content ecosystem.

Astro Studios is the core production engine for Malaysia's renowned broadcaster, Astro. With post powerhouse Basecamp Films joining us, we have vastly expanded our capabilities. There are now 3 divisions, namely Astro Productions, Astro Sound+Vision and Astro Design+Motion. I now lead the Astro Productions division, overseeing production & technical operations, championing business process transformation and strategizing business development initiatives for the company. We offer our services worldwide for Live Sports & Entertainment Outside Broadcast, Remote Production, Studios, ENG Shoots, Extended Reality (XR), 3D & Motion Graphics, Dolby Certified Video & Audio posts in TV and Films.

Heading the business development & strategy team, exploring content and technical productions, co-productions and partnership opportunities with producers, networks, broadcasters and investors around the globe. Plan and execute marketing, development and growth strategies for Astro Productions. Meanwhile a technology evangelist, heading extended reality (XR) implementation in virtual productions, creating more possibilities and efficiencies.

Being a broadcast industry professional, I specialize in business development and project management for international productions & special projects. My main role is to generate revenue for the company through sales and marketing of video production services, following through from service agreement, budget & financials, creative & technical operations, post production and billing. Managed and led a team of content producers, production designers and training. Astro Productions is a subsidiary company of Malaysia’s largest Pay TV Network and Content Provider, Astro. We specialize in studio and OB productions with the best state-of-the-art HD production facilities in Malaysia.

Specialize in film marketing and distribution, ranging from A&P events management, cinema distribution, sponsorship deals and public relations. ATF is a well established production company specialized in film. Among some of the local and internationally collaborated movies that we produced include Ice Kacang Puppy Love, The Wedding Diary I & II, The Viral Factor, Conspirators etc.

A core role in most of Astro's major in house productions which involved a lot of planning, organizing and execution. Honed my skills in budget management and problem solving. Discovered new ways in simplifying workflows and cost savings.
