• Founding Front End Engineer. Built and architected JKBX's front end codebase. • Team Lead. Hired 5 front end engineers and launched the product in 7 months.

• One of the first engineers to an engineering team that grew to 25 people. Uses Typescript, React, Apollo, GraphQL, Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. • Architect of the new design system to handle all unit components as well as forms, tables, data fetching, error handling, page management, and more. • Delivers key feature work under tight deadlines and manages projects autonomously, including a new documents management portal at the direct request of the COO, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

• Designs and builds broad architectural apis such as a new custom table framework, hydration management, api and network handling toolsets, and more. • Provides leadership to the front end team, develops code challenges and evaluates candidates when hiring. Trains new hires and provides mentorship.

• Joined as the first Front End Engineer and second overall engineer. Built and architected All Campus’s new CRM platform using TypeScript, React, and Redux with broad unit and integration testing via Jest & Enzyme. • Created a configurable and scalable routing architecture that handles for role gating, feature flags, and dynamically updates the navigation menu. • Implemented third party libraries: Twilio, Sentry, LogRocket, Google Analytics, AnyChart, Unlayer, Ant Design, Syncfusion. • Hired, managed and trained our front end intern; intern was then hired on full time.

• Data Engineer on Avant’s proprietary Machine Learning R Infrastructure team. Dockerized multiple infrastructure services and model deployments. • Architected and engineered the deployment pipeline for the company’s production machine learning models to AWS servers using Docker and AWS’s ECR. • Built a python software package to handle all of the company’s loss forecasting algorithms. Increased efficiency of loss forecasting by over 50% in 3 months.

• Built and engineered a data quality framework in Python that supported the Risk Department’s critical data monitoring and reporting needs. Framework alerted stakeholders to urgent issues and performed detailed calculations against baseline statistics. Software reduced data monitoring efforts by 80% in one month.

• Helped shape business decisions in an effort to maximize revenue and performance. Findings led to an 8% growth on inventory quality over an 8 month period as well as a 24% increase in merchandising conversion over a 10 week period.

• Performed statistical analysis to identify trends, future tendencies and key performance indicators, resulting in the number of complaints exceeding 6+ months dropping by 41% in only 3 months.

• Programmed an automated refund calculator in VBA for a city licensing center that eliminated expense errors and reduced staff resources by over 300%.
