As President of the GV Chinese Association, I’m leading the organisation through an exciting period of rebuilding and reconnection. After several quiet years during the pandemic, we’re bringing people back together—through culture, community support, and genuine belonging. My role focuses on guiding the association’s vision, strengthening partnerships, and making sure our work truly reflects the needs and voices of the Chinese community in the Goulburn Valley. At the heart of what we do is simple: building a strong, warm, and connected community where people feel seen, supported, and at home. I work closely with our committee, local organisations, councils, and community members to create programs that encourage cultural exchange, mutual support, and long-term community growth.

I have been working a few hours every week to produce and present quality content for local Mandarin speaking community. It has been a great channel to tell our stories and share timely information to help my beloved community stay engaged and entertained. Meantime, to make the Mandarin music echos around Goulburn Valley.

Curating across regional and multicultural contexts with a focus on Chinese Australian heritage, community-led storytelling, and accessible programming. This independent practice supports both institutional and grassroots initiatives. Key Projects: Rochester Mural Festival (2025): Guest judge and curatorial advisor; supported selection process with a focus on cultural storytelling in public art Australasian Cultural Art Exchange (ACAE) Gallery, Melbourne (Jan–Jul 2023): Exhibition and event assistant for contemporary Asian Australian exhibitions; bilingual communications and installation support Shepparton Art Museum: Supporting community exhibitions (SAM Fresh, SAM Open) and multicultural outreach including workshops, school holiday programs, and artist-led events GV Chinese Association Reconnection Project: Cultural lead reviving a dormant community organisation post-COVID; created bilingual programs and intercultural initiatives ONE FM Community Radio: Producer/presenter of a bilingual Mandarin program sharing local migrant stories; nominated by NEMBC as Emerging Broadcaster

Gallery attending, and assistant with exhibition curation, marketing, installing, and artists liaison. It was a great opportunity to working in the art industry along with oriental backgrounds. Dr. Damian Smith has been motivating and encouraging me tremendously during and after my intern period.

Responsible to create content for video-based social media (Tik Tok, Wechat, etc.) ; Responsible for audiences engagement and data collecting; Responsible for planning, promoting, visual design and technically supporting on weekly live broadcasting; Coordinate with the operation of Weibo, Xiaohongshu, WeChat official account and other text media.

Responsible for the producing and promoting yoga online courses; Coordinate the team to plan online marketing and promotion activities.

Organizing all departments and colleagues to work effectively and efficiently; Collecting and evaluating stories to produce attractive viedo content; Responsible for the satisfaction of products that clients demanded.
