Expanding on my prior role as a Tech Support Specialist, I became the department expert, synthesizing experience and skill into office policies and procedures. I was also responsible for implementing OS X Server with Netboot environment which was used to image 400 Apple MacBook Pro laptops and 100 Mac Mini's. Additionally, I maintained images for 1,000+ Dell laptops.

While working at Cornerstone University as a Technology Support Specialist, I began integrating my passion for technology, classroom experience from Baker College, and MBA from Cornerstone University into the work environment. Supporting the technology needs of students, faculty, and staff, I gained an appreciation for how my work can benefit others. My most notable accomplishments during this season include the implementation of a repair tracking system which was used for qualitative and quantitative analysis, 393 laptop hardware repairs (recorded after tracking system implemented), and technology orientations for new faculty and staff. The work ethic and initiative exhibited during the first four years at Cornerstone would set my career trajectory for the following years.

While working at Mouse House, I fostered and developed my passion for technology. Being a PC Specialist at this local computer repair store, I was afforded many opportunities to interface with customers. This allowed me many opportunities to learn the ins and outs of running a small business (managing the store in owner's absence), providing technical services (desktop repair/custom builds, small networking, and documentation), and communicating with customers.

As an Infrastructure and Server Engineer, I have a breadth of experience in implementing and supporting mission critical systems. Such systems include VMware ESXi 6, Dell EMC SAN, Google Apps, Windows Server 2003-2016, Dell Kace, Anti-virus, and disaster recovery plans. I have played a key roll in helping Cornerstone University carry out its mission by not only delivering on the technical demands of my job, but by living beyond the defined duties. I have found opportunities to mentor students, complete a second graduate degree, and volunteer in various ministries.
