My responsibilites included Lab managment, training lab personnel in basic research laboratory techniques, ordering supplies and care and maintenance of mouse strains. My research project is the Role of Neutrophils in Rheumatoid arthritis. My other projects involved the role of WNT in CD4 T cells.

I managed the Laboratory Care services and staff that includes care and maintenance of Laboratory animals within the Division of Biology. We also provided Sperm and Embryo cryopreservation, genotyping, etc.

* Isolation, purification and production of polyclonal antibodies. * Lab techniques such as ELISA, dot blots, affinity chromatography. * Immunization and collection of ascites fluid from mice. * Wrote SOP's.

* Supervised animal care and genotyping staff. * Generation of new genetically engineered mouse strains. * Reproduction techniques such as blastocyst collection, gamete cryopreservation, * ES cell work which includes ES cell culture, fibroblast culture and isolation. * Setup and managed a core facility. * Genotype mice by flow cytometry and/or PCR. * T cell in vivo and in vitro experiments.

I am responsible for managing LSUHSC-New Orleans animal care facilities and staff.
