35 year commercial real estate executive with experience in both private REOC and public REIT environments - focus is on office, industrial and life science product with annual acquisition target of +$250M. Over the course of his career and acting solely as a principal, Jim has been directly responsible for the acquisition and financing of over 27 million SF of property with a valuation in excess of $3 billion. Current portfolio consists of 5 million SF of Class A office and industrial and mixed use assets in the Southwest U.S. - including Hawaii, California, Arizona, Nevada, Dallas and Colorado. Currently sits on the Investment Committee for Parallel Capital Partners and oversees a 40 person staff of experienced CRE professionals. As Managing Partner and Founder of Parallel, Jim possesses a very broad skill set ranging from analytics to asset management, leasing, joint venture structuring, acquisition review and project level finance Skilled in working with our most important asset - namely our Tenants, Real Estate Economics, Real Estate Transactions, and Investment Properties.
