Team Leader leading a crew of Mechanical Maintenance employees in 5 Paper Machine and Raw Materials / Finishing departments. Temporarily act as Team Leader in 6 Paper Machine department. Work hands on as a Millwright, certified Welder, certified Industrial Hydraulic Mechanic through Fluid Power Society, certified scaffolding erector and approver. Certified trainer for mobile equipment within our facility. Train and re-certify everyone every 3 years. Temporarily fill salaried Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator positions for 5 line, 6 line and Raw Materials / Finishing departments for stretches up to 11 months at a time, Vacation approver / manager in SAP, create and manage the Shift Millwright's schedule, vacations, etc, in SAP. Manage Hot Work permits, manage Permits to Work, create STOP Audits, create Simple Risk Assessments, create Fall Hazard Analysis, create Job Safety Analysis, create & manage Department Operating Procedures. Order parts on my credit card, run for parts to local businesses, manage my credit card statements. Meet with vendors and work with them on projects, parts, planning, etc. Manage our CMMS / Baan program regarding spare parts, bill of materials, etc. Stage parts and tools for upcoming jobs, manage our shutdown staging area. Guide and assign work to Mechanical Engineer part time summer Interns. Participate with hiring new Mechanical Maintenance employees, manage our practical hands on testing with eight stations for new hire candidates.
