In addition to serving as program coordinator, received over $350,000 in grants, including professional development grants for adult educators and adult literacy grants with a staff of seven instructors and support personnel. Served on FaCET Advisory Council. Served as the faculty advisor for our program serving non-traditional adults, REAL: Reaching Each Adult Learner, and have chaired two rounds of university-wide needs assessments using NoelLevitz and CAEL instruments. Served on and chaired Tenure & Promotion committees. Currently the editor for the Journal of Research and Practice for Adult Literacy, Secondary, and Basic Education. Reviewer for three other national journals, served as regional representative for the Commission of Adult Basic Education and treasurer for the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education.
