This highly acquisitive business provided services to the insurance sector, including legal, medical services and technology platforms. At its' peak the business employed c4000 people. Responsible for the overall vision, direction and leadership of HR I lead a team of HR/L&D professionals to deliver a client centric professional and effective HR service. I developed an innovative people strategy to facilitate the growth of the business. Growth both organically via volume requirement and via acquisitions of which I played a key role regarding HR due diligence and cultural alignment.

In this innovative technology driven business, I established the HR function and created a global people strategy with a focus on developing a high performance culture to realise the commerical/business strategy. This included the implementation of a HR Business Partner Model to support six business units.

I created and implemented an innovative and commerially aligned HR strategy with the emphasis on achieving a culture of continuous improvement in this people centric business. I was integral the company achieving reaccreditation of the IiP Accreditation following a period of rapid growth and restructuring within the organisation.

I established and managed the European HR function in this sales and marketing driven business. I joined as this Australian company was expanding and setting up its' operation within the European Region. I was integral to achieving a number of awards for the organisation, including the IiP Accredition and a Partnership in Business Award.

I prepared companies, across the distribution and construction sectors, for the Equity Employment Act which involved preparing reports and project plans for submission to, and approval by, the South African Government.

Reporting into the global HQ in Denmark, I established the UK HR function within this unionised, multi-site manufacturing organisation with HR responsibility for 3 UK sites with a complex ER caseload.
