Jie Wang

A passionate, optimistic and open-minded structural biology PhD and now a postdoc in Copenhagen University with over 10 years of experience in academia. Strongly aware of the protein purification, characterisation and structural determination, especially membrane protein. The six months of academic exchange in Japan and the two years as a postdoctoral researcher in Denmark have brought me novel experiences of various cultures and nations, which have kept my curiosity and exploratory mindset alive. Over the past nine years, I have honed my skills and knowledge in structural biology together with different biochemical research and analysis including ITC, DSC, SPR, MS and various spectrum through both my academic pursuits and professional experiences. My past experience working in the company has given me confidence in reintegrating into a new job, effectively communicating with colleagues and clients. Academic research is cutting-edge, but I also aspire to utilize my knowledge for the benefit of humanity and to overcome challenges in the field of medicine.
