Jim Walker is a former Assistant Professor of Economics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, teaching the Finance for Army Leaders course and the Money and Banking course. He completed 22 years of active-duty service, with 17 years experience leading & managing military police law enforcement, physical security, guard force, and combat support organizations in the USA, Europe, Pacific, Kuwait, Korea, and Afghanistan. After attending a fully-funded graduate education program at Duke University, he became an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy. Later he was selected as an Academic Fellow/FA59 to the University of Maryland, researching Terrorism and Insurgency Financing. Jim culminated his Army career by commanding a 1150 Soldier tactical Military Police Battalion in Germany. Hopeless BJJ practitioner (Brown belt).
