Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corp. Ltd., in discovering, optimizing and developing innovative pharmaceutical products to address unmet medical needs in major therapeutic categories. Performed Milli/multi-gram scale multi-step organic synthesis, purification and characterization of various Kinase, GPCR, Chemokine and Nuclear Receptor inhibitors designed by senior staff and myself. Illustrated chemistry progress to senior scientific staff in written reports and in oral presentations/discussions. This included (but not limited to) written monthly reports, chemistry meeting presentations, journal club presentations and yearly research management presentations. Maintained, configured, and trouble-shot Waters MassLynx LCMS & UPLC analytical and preparative instruments. Drafted all SOP's on instrument usage and trained colleagues on instrument operation. Performed HTS hit compound screening for structure validation and compound purity checks. Performed liquid nitrogen and helium cryogen fills along with schedule preventive & emergency maintenance on a Bruker 400 MHz NMR.
