Wrote a Python tutorial for a CSA’s open-source dataset to improve public’s accessibility to data and information as part of the Open Government Implementation Plan. Producing an error report analysis on a one-million-scanned-ionograms dataset on a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Engineered and optimized code to identify overexposure in scans using Pandas, incorporating runtime efficiencies and preventing redundancy Enhanced metadata extraction from scans using a trained recognizer with KERAS-OCR and TensorFlow and performed comprehensive testing of de-noising code to compare reading accuracies Keeping track of workflow using Jira and using version control (GitHub) while actively participating in weekly team meetings to discuss projects’ progress and address challenges

Analysis of Robust Sparse Regression with Applications to Genomics | Department of Statistics Undergraduate Student Research Award issued by the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Designed and implemented code to run extensive simulations on high-dimensional data in R using R-studio to assess the performance of a robust stepwise split regularized regression estimator.

Promoted to Senior Sales Associate and Assistant Sales Manager. Interacted with approximately 75 members daily and resolved customer issues and escalations while maintaining a positive and professional attitude to ensure customer retention and increase the rate of win-back customers.

Formulated, executed compelling seasonal sales promotions and membership add -on based on customers’ preferences, leading to consistently achieving the established sales goals and surpassing the monthly sales target by 12%.

Provided administrative support to the owners, kept cost and inventory reports and oversaw ordering supplies (retail & professional). Managed retail sales of professional hair products and increased revenue by over 63% over a period of 8 months.
