Over the last few years, I've written over 200 features as a regular contributor for ThemeParkTourist.com . My content for the site has largely focused on Disney parks, particularly Walt Disney World, focusing on subjects including vacation advice, trip hacks, unusual elements of park history, humor pieces, and current events surrounding Disney parks. In particular, I've written a large number of pieces focused on the presence of Star Wars in the parks, with a special emphasis on subjects surrounding Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (one of my favorite additions to Walt Disney World). I have a special place in my heart for Disney parks, and I love helping other find new ways to enjoy vacations there.

I serve as a full time member of the pastoral staff at Harvest Church, a non-denominational Christian church in Citrus Springs, FL. My primary areas of focus at the church are as the church's Worship Pastor, as well as serving as a Student Pastor (along with my husband, David) to teens in middle school and high school. In addition to these two areas, I also participate as a regular teacher for our adult discipleship classes involving in-depth study of the Bible. The nature of the ministry we do has given me the pleasure of wearing many hats and participating in many areas of the church. Some of these include overseeing our Media Ministry, assisting with administrative work such as writing and travel planning, team scheduling and event organizing, missions work in the US and internationally, and regular public speaking to a wide range of age groups.

I’m a freelance writer and novelist based in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I’ve worked in the film and television industry for over a decade providing professional production support and craft services to clients such as American Idol, Fox Films, Coors, Discovery Channel, Weather Channel, Food Network, Range Rover, Jeep-Chrysler-Dodge, and more. I have a personal area of expertise in volunteer work, Christian ministry, and working with South Asian immigrants and Bhutanese-Nepali refugees. Some of my other areas of focus include travel, productivity, writing advice, and history. I also have experience providing transcription, critique, and content editing. My favorite genre to write is speculative fiction. I am currently editing my third completed novel, The Walker Was. I also regularly maintain a blog on spirituality and culture called Kneeling in the Dark. Some of my published work includes articles for RelevantMagazine.com, The Write Life, and more.
