• Lead a team of 4 Process Engineers responsible for aluminum casting processes for cylinder heads (A319 & A356 alloys) for key OEMs including Stellantis, GM, and Ford. • Present weekly quality performance reviews to customers, addressing internal and external rejection trends, and develop corrective action plans to continuously improve product performance and reduce customer rejections. • Report internal quality performance to the Operations Director, identifying main rejection sources across production lines and implementing strategic action plans to increase yield and output of conforming product. • Achieved significant defect reduction by eliminating or mitigating casting issues: • Reduced turbulence oxide porosity in exhaust areas. • Eliminated shrinkage porosity in cover rail and oil gallery surfaces. • Minimized deck face porosity caused by exogenous contaminants. • Improved combustion chamber dimensional performance affected by distortion during heat treatment. • Currently leading efforts to reduce shrinkage porosity in spark plug towers for the Stellantis GME T6 HO & SO program. • Applied advanced process improvement tools such as thermocouple instrumentation, tooling redesigns, simulation analysis, and Design of Experiments (DoE) to optimize casting parameters and validate corrective actions. • Collaborated closely with Operations teams to evaluate, document, and standardize best operational practices across production lines. • Responsible for validation of new machines, tooling, and engineering changes with customers through the PPAP & PSW process. • Ensure compliance with SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, and internal quality standards, and support customer and third-party audits.

• Member of the cylinder head production team, working with A319 and A356 aluminum alloys in gravity casting processes using semi-permanent molds and hot/cold box core manufacturing. • Developed and implemented complete product documentation including Control Plans, FMEAs, flowcharts, work instructions, visual aids, and checklists to ensure process robustness and compliance with customer specifications. • Led scrap reduction initiatives, proposing tooling modifications and defining new process variables, which improved productivity, reduced rework, and enhanced final product quality. • Conducted detailed root cause analysis of casting defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions that contributed to continuous process improvement. • Built and maintained databases and dashboards to track internal and external quality indicators, enabling data-driven decision making and improved visibility of quality trends. • Supported new tooling development, tooling replacements, and new machine validations in alignment with customer requirements. • Coordinated with customers during PPAP submissions and engineering changes, ensuring successful approvals and smooth product launches. • Interpreted engineering blueprints and specifications for each program to ensure dimensional compliance and manufacturability. • Participated in weekly customer meetings, presenting quality performance reports and action plans to address deviations and strengthen customer trust.

Specializing in highly demanding parts of engines and automotive chassis, Montupet designs, develops and produces aluminum castings and machined parts for a wide range of automotive manufacturers. Product Developer - Make tooling validation at Dev Center on Laigneville, France for transfer project to México; in tooling validation involves process, machine, defects and dimensional analysis; my main roll is about sand core production. Mainly activities: • Sand core production on cylinder head project • Cold box on blower machines for sand core production and create cavities in casting. • Dimensional analysis, do it modification on core box to improve process and get capability • Daily scrap research, to improve potential defects • Tooling inspections by GOM analysis • Troubleshooting in production line of cores • Evaluate tooling modifications and make up technical report
