About

I work to understand Earth's systems and how we may treat it better. I believe people can work and live soundly with the land and that the tools exist to make this easier. Throughout my career, I utilize mapping and GIS (ArcGIS and QGIS), communication tools (public speaking and online applications), Python, and other analysis tools. Learning new technologies and techniques is a hobby just as much as it is a goal. I also believe it is vital to be in the world, whether that be on a sea shore or the middle of a corn field. “Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”― Kurt Vonnegut
