I championed UX and led marketing and UX projects for a variety of clients. These included coordinating a rebranding campaign. For this project, I conducted interviews and observations, built wireframes, mock-ups, navigational maps, and copy, and proposed marketing directions for the targeted campaign.

Classes I have taught include Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, and Speech Fundamentals (Public/Presentational Speaking). I have also been a TA for Rhetoric in the Western World. I have extensive experience designing my own courses and managing online materials.

As one of two initial account executives for Arkansas Door Deals, I contributed to the development of an emerging organization's strategies for success while establishing and maintaining successful client relationships and products.

I championed UX planning, design, and approaches across a variety of projects. These include leading an agile team of designers, researchers, and developers in the redesign of a cross-platform gamified social app and consulting on design of a cutting edge Digital Innovations Minor for a top liberal arts college which utilizes Unity, C#, and iterative testing to achieve diverse, industry-based educational goals.

I designed innovative AR and VR interactions, VR-integrated mobile UI, and AR/VR cross-cultural storytelling for internationally marketed, award-winning games. As an intern, I worked flexibly with cross-functional teams in Hangzhou, China, to conceptualize, test, and polish a variety of designs for games ranging from mobile social multiplayer to dynamic first-person VR combat.

Given wide latitude to assess and address lackluster response to an existing prototype, I completed an entire redesign of a game, dramatically increasing its effectiveness along targeted metrics. Operating largely independently with weekly collaboration, I analyzed data, playtested prototypes using qualitative and quantitative analysis, and completed both the graphic and game design.

In this Capstone Project for the CMU Masters in Human Computer Interaction, I managed a five-person team with the goal of creating an innovative, interactive, fully immersive exhibit illuminating renewable energy. I led our team through international research, visioning, and the dynamic presentation of our interactive concepts, which received great excitement from our client.

* Working with a cross-functional team in an agile environment, I am in charge of redesigning a variety of features and complex systems for the new web and responsive web launch. I also help manage design consistency * conduct user testing * design a variety of assets in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects * mentor junior colleagues * and create robust, interactive, low and high fidelity Axure prototypes.

Interdisciplinary studies (including involvement in an elite interdisciplinary honors program and completing an award-winning interdisciplinary honors thesis) allowed me to approach an array of complex issues from multiple perspectives, a skill which I find essential in our complex, ever-changing world. My four areas of concentration as an undergraduate were psychology, philosophy, international studies, and rhetoric/writing.
