I am a recent graduate of North Carolina State University, with a Master's of Science in Civil Engineering. I also have educational experience at the University of Wisconsin, which was focused towards the transportation and traffic operations aspects of civil engineering. I graduated in May of 2012 and received my Engineering In Training certification shortly afterwards. My past position with the Georgia Department of Transportation, as a project manager, has helped me to learn the industry more, develop monthly estimates, and honed my skills in communication. I am interested in learning new computer programs to supplement my job and I am always up for a challenge. I enjoy the broad spectrum of projects that can happen with a civil engineering job and I like the new experiences.

I worked with an experienced surveyor to stake out storm, sanitary, and water, as well as roadways. This gave me experience with the Total Station and GPS Data Collector (Trimble).

Summers Only I worked as an utilities inspector for the city. This includes taking notes on what the crews install, keeping track of their totals for the day, troubleshooting for the crews, along with any citizens who have concerns or questions about the job. I also recorded manhole installation notes, such as the elevation of the structure and elevations of the pipes, as well as lengths of the pipes. I also assisted the survey crews when needed.
