As a Motivational Speaker, I deliver talks aimed at empowering and uplifting diverse audiences. My presentations focus on themes such as resilience, personal growth, and overcoming challenges, drawing from my own experiences and insights. I have had the privilege of speaking at various venues, including schools, community organizations, and corporate settings, such as the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards, STEM Changemakers Forum, and local health and wellness conferences. I tailor my messages to resonate with each audience, utilizing storytelling techniques, interactive activities, and relatable anecdotes to captivate listeners and encourage them to take actionable steps toward their goals. Additionally, I conduct workshops and seminars that provide practical tools and strategies for personal development, fostering an environment of openness and support. Through my motivational speaking engagements, I aim to ignite a sense of hope, inspire change, and instill a belief in the potential for success, regardless of the obstacles faced. My work as a motivational speaker has allowed me to share my message and connect with individuals on a deeper level, fostering a community dedicated to growth and empowerment.

I contributed to Vision Youth, World Vision’s Youth Movement, by writing compelling content on significant social justice issues. This role involved conducting interviews with various stakeholders to gain diverse perspectives, engaging in thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth, and crafting well-informed articles that raised awareness and inspired action among young people. My writing aimed to engage the youth audience effectively and foster a greater understanding of pressing social challenges, while highlighting opportunities for involvement and advocacy. Through this experience, I developed strong communication and storytelling skills, furthering my commitment to social justice and community engagement.

Project Title: An Investigation into Identifying Biomarkers in Human Pregnancies for the Presence of Brain Damage in the Third Trimester Fetus and Neonate: Evaluation of Their Utility and Prospects for Early Interventions. In my completed project, I investigated biomarkers and metabolic signatures related to brain damage in third-trimester fetuses, with a focus on their implications for the early identification of cerebral palsy (CP). I conducted a comprehensive review of relevant literature and examined biochemical pathways to identify specific metabolites linked to adverse neurological outcomes. Additionally, I designed a prospective clinical trial to identify at-risk patient groups, ensuring the selection of appropriate biomarkers and statistical methods for reliable results. This research aims to facilitate early interventions and improve management protocols for pregnancies at risk of neurological complications, ultimately enhancing outcomes for affected infants.

My degree provided a comprehensive education in human physiology, anatomy, and pathophysiology, with a focus on molecular cell biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and medical biochemistry. This curriculum deepened my understanding of human body systems and equipped me for a medical career. Through hands-on laboratory experiences, I mastered techniques such as pipetting, using light microscopes, and performing analyses with spectrometry and chromatography, all vital for conducting experiments and interpreting data. I also honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills by analyzing research articles, learning to evaluate scientific literature effectively. Additionally, I developed strong scientific writing abilities, enabling clear communication of complex ideas, thus preparing me for future challenges in the medical field.
