• 2G, 3G & LTE In-building design and outdoor site planning, integration and optimisation • Pro-actively analyse and recommend capacity dimensioning requirements on RAN/UTRNA/ETRAN • Investigate and rectify all network quality faults received from network quality, network performance, CIC, management and the NMG • Investigate and rectify all network failures received from regular drive testing routes by in house trialling and Atio • Have knowledge of different performance, analysis and planning tools to ensure efficiency in providing better solutions • To ensure optimum use of planning and performance tools i.e. Atoll_2G_3G_LTE, Fetch, Huawei Nastar, U2000, Remedy, HPSD, Rhino, Omnix, Prism and Sonar • To ensure optimal performance on network quality by monitoring the network statistics through tools such as Huawei M2000, Natstar, NEMO, Actix, Sonar and Hyperion • Conduct cluster optimisation of new site and first order neighbours (TLTS, Azimuths, heights) • Responsible for new site integration in terms of optimisation, performance checks and announcements • Monthly and weekly network quality presentation on the network performance as well as all required statistics and ad hoc reports as per required timelines, standards and formats • Give cross functional support to Senior Technical Officers & Technical Officer's during their daily functions with escalated an in-depth network faults • Evaluate and analyze job orders and suggest possible solutions/alternatives to other departments (e.g. Radio Planning, Radio Maintenance and Radio Installations) before execution of the job orders • Liaise with vendors regarding faults when necessary according to SLA • Provide related assistance and support to EBU and CBU departments when required • To manage special technical projects: > High traffic events i.e. ZCC Moria Pilgrim the biggest church event in Africa > Spectrum Re-farming. > LTE and U900 metro deployment. > LTE Carrier Aggregation (LTE advance)
