The Regulatory Document Search Portal is a federal government project that provides Canadians with intuitive search functionality for regulatory documents stored in Content Server. Our design was adapted and implemented in the live portal: https://apps.cerrec.gc.ca/REGDOCS. Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborated with a business analyst to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirement gathering sessions. • Researched OpenText Content Server Web APIs to support project needs. • Developed technical diagrams and designed Web UI layouts. • Built functional prototypes and validated designs with stakeholders. • Authored a system design document to secure project budget approval. • Provided technical support for the Participation Portal project. Tech Stack: Content Server (CS10) Search API, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Razor, Entity Framework 6, AutoMapper, SQL Server, and Web Experience Toolkit (WET).

The ICBC Driver Service Centre System Technical Roadmap project aimed to develop a strategic roadmap for replacing the legacy Driver Licensing system. The existing system was a C++ and MFC desktop application with an IBM IMS mainframe and DB2 backend. Roles and Responsibilities: • Conducted a thorough analysis and review of the C++ source code repository to assess overall system structure. • Identified gaps and risks within the codebase, highlighting areas for improvement. • Documented the system’s current state and developed recommendations, along with a technical roadmap, to guide the rewrite and upgrade project. Tech Stack: C++, MFC, IBM DB2, PL/I, IBM 3270 Emulation, IBM MQ, AttachMate, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

The Petrolog and Techlog project involved developing desktop-based software that empowers Oil and Gas companies to process wireline logging data, visualize reservoir properties, and predict and discover petroleum reserves. Roles and Responsibilities: • Participated in requirement gathering sessions and SCRUM meetings. • Designed and developed WPF forms for the application interface. • Researched opensource mathematical libraries to support advanced calculations. • Designed high performance algorithms to solve complex engineering formulas. • Analyzed and converted scripts from Matlab and PowerShell to enhance compatibility. • Collaborated with subject matter experts and engineers to develop effective test strategies. • Contributed to the Techlog Plugin project. The Sour Gas Data and Coal Mine Data projects were part of the GOA’s Mainframe Retirement Initiatives, funded around 2010, aimed at modernizing and transitioning critical data systems from legacy mainframe platforms. Roles and Responsibilities: • Applied iterative methodology to successfully convert a legacy mainframe application into a VB.Net Windows Forms-based solution. • Performed in-depth analysis of Mainframe, IDMS, and COBOL code to ensure smooth transition and functionality. • Developed UI, business logic, and database layers to create a cohesive, user-friendly application. • Provided ongoing support for DTS packages and a suite of in-house GIS applications.
