Software engineer with 10+ years across national security, reverse engineering, and cloud development. Started my career in cryptanalysis at the NSA and vulnerability research at the Navy before moving to full-stack development at AWS, where I've spent the last four years building production systems for Amazon's security organization.Currently focused on generative AI: building multi-stage Bedrock pipelines with Claude, deploying foundation models, and shipping AI-powered tools for the Amazon Ads organization. August 2025 - Present: I am working on the Sandstone team in SDO as an SDE to build the infrastructure and software tools to predict what amazon customers will want to purchase next. We are working closely with scientists who are creating the foundation model which will drive predictions on what the customers next purchase will be. Our teams tech stack is in NAWS, we code in python and kotlin for the backend, react + typescript for the front end. July 2022 - August 2025: Our teams objective is to deliver Padfoot, a tool which focuses on storing, monitoring, and reporting on a cleared employees data. We are building Padfoot from the ground up, I was responsible for the self reporting module and the mission bonus module, two key aspects of the service which all cleared aws employees use. This tool is built using AWS, we deploy via CDK, our datastore is DynamoDB and S3, we work in NAWS and utilize lambda for execution, we use Python, flask, and pynamodb to support the backend. While being project lead I have been expected to: - Meet regularly with customers to gather user stories - Create the designs and data models for the modules - Create design documents and review them with my team - build, test, and deploy changes on a regular cadence - lead the project through the app sec process to have independent security reviewers pen test the service. This project has been released to production and is actively used by cleared employees to report their major life events.

Developed a project for collecting, analyzing, backtesting and monitoring trades with option contracts on the stock market. This project includes: - Collects option market data live for entire S&P 500 through APIs and stores data in a proprietary format. - Well over 75,000 lines of python code written to date and a couple of backtests written in Rust. - Over 70 tests created that runs over years of historical data to gauge success of proprietary trading schemes. - Has an "interactive mode" for examining all the S&P 500 symbols data and provides useful information that can be tailored for what the user wants to see. - Tasks are managed by cron jobs within docker containers, all day-to-day operations are fully autonomous. • Created a trading bot that automatically places option trades, monitors them, and removes them when thresholds are met. The bot uses TD Ameritrade’s APIs to access the account and manage trades. - The bot uses limit orders to carefully walk up / down the limit price to ensure good fills are achieved. - Created an error checking system with email alerts in the event of bad data or an error through TD APIs. • Created a website designed to facilitate learning about option trading, testing completely customizable option trading strategies and getting live recommendations for trades based on user input. - Website built with React JS Version 17.0+, CSS and HTML. Backend written in Rust and Python. - Website and database hosted with firebase. Backtest requests are forwarded to a custom python web server which verifies and error checks HTTP requests and launches the test.

• (Sept. 2021 - July 2022) Lead Developer on a 6-person team. Project is to research how people perform RE, we collect data by instrumenting Ghidra both internally and externally. In charge of code base for external instrumentation, it uses python OpenCV, threads and pools to map coordinates of windows and headers within Ghidra. The code tracks how the user interacts with them and records the metadata. Collaborate weekly with HRL Laboratories and CMU, led meetings teaching RE and explained exploitation concepts. Regularly make design and requirement decisions for the project. • (Sept. 2020 – Sept. 2021) Developed static analysis tool in python using the source and sink methodology for detecting stack and heap buffer overflows as well as format string vulnerabilities. Utilized Binary Ninja and Ghidra APIs for access to decompiled instructions and program control flow. Successfully identified existing vulnerabilities in published CVEs and deployed against target devices seeking new vulnerabilities. • (Jan. 2020 – Sept. 2020) Team leader and lead developer on project developing a tool for SRT-1 operators. The project is written primarily in python and uses a wide-ranging open-source tools such as SCAPY and hostapd. • Continuously mentored new hires to develop technical skills and helped them navigate the work environment. Created requirements for them and guided them to the correct solutions as needed.

Cryptanalytic Computer Network Operation Development Program(C2DP)| March 2016 – Dec 2018 • This development program trains new hires in Crypt and CNO by having participants tour in different offices every 6-9 months throughout the agency. Completed requirements for graduating the C2DP, including 4 tours in CNO and crypt, and over 20 weeks of training. • Tour 1: CNO Software Development – 9 months – Programming languages: C, Assembly • Reverse Engineered a device and developed multiple capabilities against it. • Completed work on time sensitive project, utilized SVN for version control and for performing code reviews with colleagues located at off site locations. • Tour 2: Counter Terrorism Crypt Pursuit – 6 months – Programming languages: Python, C, C++ • Developed tools for analysts to manage work flows and query large data bases. • Created a new tool that implements a Map Reduce to correlate data, this revolutionized the process of finding and viewing this data saving analysts immense amounts of time. • Created a sophisticated python script to parse a corpus of files and output data in a user friendly way.
