• Experienced in target identification, validation and mechanism-of-action projects, including work with cell lines, primary cells, patient-derived iPSCs, and/or tissues. • Support preclinical ADME/DMPK Assay development projects of novel therapeutic compounds: Solubility, Caco-2 permeability, primary hepatocyte, and plasma binding studies. • Developed cell-based assays for drug discovery projects, including: molecular biology (e.g. western blot, RT-qPCR, and confocal microscopy), biochemical and biophysical techniques. • Support non-dilutive grant proposals to facilitate drug discovery funding and collaboration efforts.

• Support biology and pharmacology preclinical studies by developing and performing analysis of tissues derived from preclinical models. • Experienced in Animal husbandry, dosing, necropsy, and ex vivo tissue processing. • Conduct data analyses and documentation of experiments.

• My research explored the role of Rubicon expression on Mitochondrial Network Dynamics and the activation of the immune response in Microglia in the context of Neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases. – Assist in mouse-colony maintenance, genotyping, weaning/breeding – Utilized AAV-EGFP for transgene delivery in brain tissue, followed by fluorescence microscopy to assess induced gene expression in histological sections – Trained fellow undergraduates on basic molecular biology techniques PI: Dr. Bradlee Heckmann PhD
