Leads monthly S&OP cycle and responsible for demand planning, capacity/supply, production scheduling, inventory management, and NPI/commercialization.

Directed a 9-person planning team and 10 production schedulers across 10 pasta, peanut butter, and healthy snack manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Led and created all processes for demand, capacity and production scheduling along with designing/implementing a new Sales and Operations Planning process.

Directed a 6 person buying team across four locations in the U.S. Responsible for planning and procuring all raw materials for division and planning stock transfers from Asian production facilities for U.S. manufacturing needs.

Direct the Supply Chain Planning Group, a team of 14 (capacity planners, schedulers and replenishment planners), managing capacity needs, long-range production and manufacturing operations for leading $5B food manufacturing brand. Responsible for analyzing and assessing production needs for six plants, finding solutions to longer range capacity issues and working with the demand planning teams and operations to ensure streamlined supply chain operations and operations planning.

Directed the planning team for demand, supply and production planning. Created and led the formal S&OP monthly cycle for the $500M Cargill Value Added Protein egg processing business. Also led the distribution team, which included managing a private fleet of 13 trucks and outside carrier/warehouse relationship management. Maintained statistical models for demand, resolving supply issues in conjunction with procurement and customer service, working with five production facilities to balance line efficiencies with world-class service levels.

Managed $70M in ingredient/packaging/MRO spend, identifying efficiencies, savings and new revenue within operations for Sunny Fresh Foods/Cargill Kitchen Solutions. Directed the performance of the procurement group, introduced new processes and systems, led training to attain improved outcomes. Also led the SAP process design/implementation team for supply chain planning and procure-to-pay for Cargill Value Added Protein.

Managed responsibilities of packaging buyer and supervisor of production area in Monticello facility, working in tandem to complete graduate degree in business and move into the procurement group full-time.

The move to Target came with increased responsibility and the opportunity to learn about and direct complex warehouse/distribution needs for this leading retailer. After making the move, Cargill re-approached with a career progression opportunity that better fit long-term aspirations with near completion of graduate degree.

As QA supervisor and production supervisor in various departments, held responsibility for the implementation of automated pasteurization controls in the plant and engineered multiple processing line improvements.
