I oversaw tremendous capital project growth ($200M - $900M) while guiding the team to develop an industry-leading safety program and culture from the ground up as Western establishes itself as a standalone company. • Built and currently lead an HSE support team of 38 field HSE professionals to provide regulatory support and guidance to the US lower 48 operations. • Advised functional vice presidents on the overall vision and direction of the WES HSE program and how to implement those principles in their business strategy. • Developed and rolled out “Live Safe” safety program to foster a culture of safety awareness and practice, promoting genuine care and concern for one another. • Earned first-place performance award (x2) in recognition of lowest recordable incident rate. Directed HSE corporate services team that supports and develops HSE IT systems, records management, training, HSE program development, and incident management.

I supported the global HSE function for all Corporate, GoM, International, and US Onshore business units while leading a 6-person team and managing a $3M budget. • Developed and implemented Life Saving Rule programs and training modules. • Appointed to transition team to spearhead the comprehensive integration of Anadarko and Occidental HSE systems and staff following Occidental’s acquisition of Anadarko.

As the Sr. Director of Operations, I oversaw all aspects of large, concurrent capital growth projects, driving the completion of $1.5M+ in total project value within 9 months—on time, within budget, and incident free. I acted as a general contractor and owner representative while internally coaching a 6-person team and managing a $200K operations budget. • Implemented consistent processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency. • Managed and administered all facets of insurance program; negotiated 20% reduction on premium while adding $8M+ in coverage.

Following Crestwood’s 2013 merger with Inergy, I was entrusted to combine 2 companies and develop practices / procedures to integrate equal-sized companies into the Crestwood portfolio. I oversaw daily operations and led a regional support team of safety, environmental, and regulatory professionals to provide regulatory support and guidance to the Central Region of the US Lower 48. I managed multiple national accounts for ESR-related services, including cost management. • Repaired the strained relationship between HSE and Operations by improving collaboration and communication to become trusted advisor organization-wide, from field professionals to executive Operations management. • Propelled the development and implementation of corporate safety and environmental management systems to mitigate risks. • Ensured and maintained operational compliance with all regulations (i.e., OSHA, PSM, and RMP). Developed and maintained compliance OPEX and CAPEX budgets for facilities and projects. • Coordinated Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chemical security compliance. Oversaw compliance activities related to SPCC, NPDES, USFW, Clean Water Act, and Clean Air Act regulations. • Conducted incident investigations and provided technical expertise in root cause analysis. • Oversaw contractor management selection and safety programs for all third-party business partners working in the Central Region.

In 2011, I was tapped to learn supply chain from the ground up to assume the department upon the retirement of the Director of Supply Chain. I became the project buyer for drilling, completions, construction, and production while maintaining oil country tubular goods inventory in accordance with operational requirements. • Managed all fleet maintenance, vehicle purchase/remarketing, and manufacturer CPA agreements. • Performed cost analysis on product and service lines. • Developed strategic pricing agreements for commonly used products and services. • Assisted in supplier dispute resolution, Master Service Agreements, and insurance data management. • Coordinated with inside counsel on all procurement contracts.

I initially joined Quicksilver Resources in 2008 to provide safety support and guidance to operations for all US Quicksilver E&P upstream operations. I set and maintained the departmental budget and compliance costs for AFEs. • Represented the company on industry boards and associations, including NTEPS, Barnett Operators Safety Group, ASSE, National STEPS ad-hoc committee, and the National Oil and Gas Conference planning committee. • Drafted and implemented corporate health and safety policies and procedures. • Developed and delivered training modules to field and office employees. • Created and rolled out a corporate Defensive Driving program. • Conducted well site, well service rig, and drilling rig audits and inspections. • Managed contractor pre-qualification audits. • Provided safety input on Management of Change process. • Oversaw employee workplace injury medical case management. • Maintained FMCSA compliance program.

As a firefighter, I provided emergency medical and fire suppression activities on a shift-work basis. I also performed station and equipment maintenance.

Throughout my 3+ years with Cajun Constructors, I oversaw a multi-site operation and performed regular job site audits while supervising multiple project safety personnel. I also served as the Safety Manager for Crown Constructors, Cajun's Virgin Island subsidiary. • Performed safety training as needed. • Participated in estimating effort as it pertained to potential excavation safety or fall protection needs. • Assisted in managing workers’ compensation claims and developing new policies. • Initiated root cause investigations for Dallas Division.
