I was working on a team to improve the Outlook Desktop Search experience on Windows. Some projects that I've was involved with: -Creating a system to automate the detection of issues using logging and telemetry systems -Write automated tests to verify that Outlook Search works correctly by analyzing logs emitted during the test -create a way to store errors for later analysis using the registry -various bug fixes in the C++ codebase

Worked as a Front End Developer on the Desktop Outlook Team (Windows) -Worked with a large existing code base -Was given the ability to alter my project for improvements as I discovered them -Progressed through my summer project by hitting milestones to show accurate progress -Worked with other team members to complete my project -Programed in C++ -Went to meetings where we discussed the large impact of changes to the source code and how to mitigate certain problems and bugs

During this internship, I worked with a team of developers to create a web-based file sharing application. -Worked on creating a secure backend with NodeJS, Express, and MongoDB -Worked with a team to design the entire structure of the server application from the ground up -Created, documented, and maintained a versioned api for use by an external team -collaborated with other developers using Git and Trello

- Created a web application to help manage licenses for Seagate’s global locations. This project ended up being bigger than expected and it is now being used for multiple corporate solutions - Created and managed a MySQL database - Gained experience using vmWare products to create virtual machines in the cloud - Did extensive work in the Unix terminal - Support Seagate's Internal Cloud Infrastructure

In this internship, I worked with 7 other developers, 5 business interns, and a graphic designer to brainstorm a startup idea and bring it to market. By the end of our semester long internship, our startup recieved funding to continue development and bring it to market. However, I left at this point for a differnet internship. -Trained in full stack javascript web programming -Learned Javascript, NodeJS, Express, BackboneJS, and Bootstrap -Colaborated with other developes using Git in an openspace enviornment -Developed on both the server and client to add multiple features -Discussed business impact of features and helped brainstorm our minimum viable product

-Managed Lifeguards(up to 27 at a time) -Managed both pool chemicals and cleaning of our three pools -Provided customer service to patrons -Assisted and taught lifeguards skills on a weekly basis
