With more than 11 million policyholders, Die Techniker (TK) is Germany's largest statutory health insurance provider. Our goal is to guarantee our policyholders high-quality medical care. Our drive is to use our knowledge and ideas to shape a modern and sustainable healthcare system - with our policyholders at the center. After joining the TK Board of Management in 2011, I have been responsible for the areas of Corporate Development, Finance and Controlling, Information Technology, Brand and Marketing, Politics and Communications. In 2012, I took over the role of CEO. Together with almost 14,000 dedicated and professionally skilled employees, our aim is to ensure that our insured members receive a high level of care and support, to continuously optimize this and to play a key role in shaping the transformation of the German healthcare system. As a dialog and development partner for politics and society, we show what health insurance looks like in the digital age.
