Jens Silva Santisteban

Starting my career as a software engineer for algorithms after majoring in the field of social robotics, I transitioned into managing agile projects within the scope of automation sensors. These included software applications for 3D vision sensors targetting factory and logistics automation, but also the development of the 3D vision sensors themselves by working with cross-functional and international teams. Being a firm believer in continuous learning and the concept of the growth-mindset I am always looking for possibilities to expand my existing knowledge and to gather new expertise. At OXID eSales, I led the OXID Solution Catalysts department, focusing on the entire ecosystem of OXID consisting of dozens of partners continuously bringing new solutions to our clients. Currently, I have taken on a new challenge as Director Product and Technology at Pyramid Computer GmbH. In this executive role I oversee our product portfolio, technology strategy, as well as support and service operations as part of the management team. Working with cross-functional teams, I'm driving innovation and technological excellence while aligning our product development with market needs and strategic business goals. I strongly believe that leadership is an entrusted responsibility and should be treated as a virtue. Leading means empowering.
