As the Softgoods Purchaser for Comor - Go Play Outside and Pacific Boarder, I curate and purchase technical outerwear and apparel, lifestyle apparel, women's footwear, and applicable accessory categories for retail. My main duties and responsibilities include: managing current, aged, and future inventory and budgets for 5 brick and mortar and 2 e-commerce stores. I work with Vendors to forecast, negotiate and build assortments for all stores. Software: Lightspeed, Shopify, AmberPOS, B2B platforms including: Elastic Suite, NuOrder, and more.

At the beginning stages of this role, I started with coordinating traditional media buys, art direction, and more as directed by the General Manager. As I progressed in this role, I eventually took over all in-house print and digital creative design, traditional and digital buys, newsletter campaigns, social media, etc. Currently, I work closely with Brand Vendors and Media Vendors to develop and execute on seasonal and yearly strategies and campaigns. Scope of campaigns range from brick and mortar window displays, product marketing, to event planning. Proficient in: Mailchimp, Illustrator, Instagram, Facebook.

Throughout my long career with Comor, I've had the luxury of learning a variety of aspects involved in operating a business. Some of my main responsibilities include: policy and procedure writing, internal company communications, backend logistics, supply purchasing, bookkeeping, accounts payable. Systems: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Accpac, ADP, Zoom, and more

The West 4th Business Improvement Association covers 10 city blocks in the vibrant and legendary Vancouver neighbourhood of Kitsilano. The Board of Directors is made up for property owners, business owners, and business executives. Thanks to my role with Comor, I was invited to join the Board of Directors. Starting as an advisor, my current position with the Board is Vice President. Responsibilities include: conception and feedback on various initiatives ranging from marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the area, small business advocacy, and other initiatives to better the neighbourhood.

Main responsibilities included: department and management of a team of 20, scheduling, payroll, hiring, training, procedure writing, cash handling and management, weekly and monthly reconciliation.
