Assisted Veterans Behavioral Health Initiative Program director with preparation of documents to assist veterans in felony court with resources. Created a Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) brochure for the Houston area to support the regional coordinator for the state of Texas. Provided Mental Health training to Veterans and other professionals from different counties in Texas. Composed Power Point presentations concentrated in Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault in the Military to be presented to various agencies for educational purposes. Coordinated guest speakers and presenters for court dockets. Assisted with launching fitness program for veterans to help cope with PTSD and other mental illness as well with coping with transitioning back to civilian life.

Assisted with clerical work for the elementary school I was assigned to. Assisted students with school morning routines. Helped students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher. Maintain constant communication with principal and assisted principal.

Teach children and adults with intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome and Autism. I take the curriculum and modify it in a way that each student can engage in it. Coordinate community events to serve families that have children and adults with special needs.Collaborate with the classroom teacher to define appropriate activities for the students in relation to the curriculum. Assess and modify behavior in students.Provide respite care to the families every three months.

Initiated a project to educate and inform the public on the differences between the Dream Act and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipients. Coordinated interviews with DACA recipients state representatives, and University of Houston Law School lawyers. Activities and Societies: Social Work Student Community Advocacy Network (SWSCAN)
