Inventional is a design research and innovation strategy consultancy. We put people at the center, because aligning first on the people who matter to your business, brings into focus what matters for your business. As a consultant, I work to both augment and challenge a team: my aim is to bring an outside-in perspective that relentlessly surfaces deep questions and unsettles foregone conclusions. I work with clients to: help leadership teams with strategic alignment, vision casting and roadmapping; facilitate collaborative workshops for cross-functional teams; design experiments to clarify assumptions and de-risk hypotheses; and run qualitative research studies to deeply investigate users' unmet needs.

Capacity building support for eBay's design research and design teams to cultivate pathways for enabling more holistic, customer-centered approaches in working across product silos and with business partners. Developed recommendations for how best to pursue end to end customer journey mapping, and worked to strengthen communication design and storytelling for user insights. Facilitated design summit to help the leadership team align on 2020 strategy.

As a concept lead for Steelcase’s New Business Innovation team, I led cross-functional teams to prototype and pilot digital experiences that augment workers’ productivity. I've applied a human-centered research lens to designing applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the workplace.

Managed strategic partnership with Microsoft, which provided software donations to more than 85,000 nonprofits globally per year. Responsible for ensuring partner success, balancing strategic goals with operational concerns in a fast-paced environment. Led cross-functional collaboration among customer support, global operations, product marketing and platform engineering teams internally, as well as our global partners, to ensure the strategic alignment of programs and services delivered.

Primary focus on fostering the startup ecosystem and contributing to economic trends reports on business sectors including media, fashion, education technology and clean tech.
