EdTech East Africa is a community for EdTech innovators and enablers. We envision inclusive, effective and resilient education systems in East Africa, powered by technology. To achieve this, we foster innovation and collaboration to address challenges and embrace opportunities in our local education ecosystems.

The EdTech Hub, supported by the UK Department for International Development and the World Bank, aims to increase the use of evidence to inform decision-making about education technology. As a member of the Expert Pool, I conduct and synthesize research on the potential of edtech to support learning.

Team4Tech is a nonprofit impact accelerator bridging the digital equity gap in education to create inclusion and opportunities for learners in under-resourced communities around the world.

The Jobtech Alliance is an ecosystem-building initiative around inclusive jobtech in Africa launched in late 2021. The Jobtech Alliance creates an enabling environment which provides the conditions for entrepreneurs to build platforms which deliver quality livelihoods, and delivers a range of acceleration activities with jobtech platforms which enable entrepreneurs to build greater scale, impact, and inclusivity in their solutions.

Spire is career-focused higher education and training reimagined from the ground up. We are developing a low-cost, scalable platform to smooth the transition from education to employment based on high-quality offline teaching, standardized curricula, online educational content, and a lean campus model. I am supporting the Business Development team to create systems and processes that help engage employers who are interested in hiring Spire graduates.

At General Assembly, we are creating a global community of individuals empowered to pursue the work they love. GA has already touched hundreds of thousands of lives, including an alumni network of more than 6,000 graduates of our courses across eight campuses around the world. I lead an effort to connect our global community through meaningful online and offline interactions, and to create opportunities for like-minded individuals to find support, resources and inspiration.

At General Assembly, we empower individuals to pursue work they love by offering full-time immersive programs, long-form courses, and classes and workshops on the most relevant skills of the 21st century – from web development and user experience design, to business fundamentals, to data science, to product management and digital marketing. I lead a global team that focuses on supporting the education to employment transition for our course and immersive graduates.

The Washington, D.C. Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) provides unparalleled opportunities for Fellows to develop leadership skills and an understanding of public policy. The program is sponsored and supported by the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL).

Collaborative Communications Group is a strategic consulting firm devoted to developing collaborative solutions to education, workforce and community challenges.
