Responsible for ensuring each site has the right materials and equipment necessary to function. Responsibilities include purchase order creation, order tracking, managing vendor relationships and overseeing order placement (MRO/RAW Materials/Corporate Service), as well as identification and implementation of cost saving and operational improvement opportunities. Diagnose process gaps and work on process improvements to continue to streamline functions. Identify cost savings opportunities and generate savings. Manages day to day interactions with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing Managers / Leaders to resolve transactional, quality and invoice related issues.

Orchestrated the sourcing, production and distribution of merchandising materials to promote the Mission Foods brands in over 200 programs annually in 30,000 retail settings across the country. I spearheaded cross-functional collaboration among the national marketing teams, external agencies, suppliers, the national retail sales organization, the procurement teams, and the finance & accounting teams to make sure #1 the national retail sales teams receive the merchandising materials they need on time every time, and #2 the suppliers receive timely payment. I interviewed and selected suppliers and maintained on-going assessment of suppliers’ performance for pricing, timely delivery, and on-going support.
