Accountable for achieving student number and revenue targets for QQI degree programmes and professional programmes offered by Independent College. Business Development • Apply pipeline generation skills to identify and acquire new students from new and existing agency partners to help grow and develop presence in specific markets • Use deep business insight and market knowledge to play a critical role in bringing prospects through the full sales cycle, working closely with admissions to ensure a strong experience for students and agents alike • Become an IH advocate and champion, providing sales skills and relationship approach to develop long term partners from developing agencies • Develop group quotations and commercial proposals • Support transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork • Involvement in local trade groups and workshops as directed by the Sales Manager • Plan and coordinate time to include workshops, client visits, product drives, promotional activities • Cold-call potential customers • Provide assistance to agent base • Development of promotions and campaigns Account Management and Coordination • Manage an assigned territory and/or sales panel across territories • Utilize tools to enter and track bookings, ensuring delivery to client requirements • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area • Data entry in Customer Relationship Management tool in a timely basis • Run reports and using insight to drive sales, pipeline and promotional activities • Dealing with inbound customer calls and inquiries to ensure the highest level of service Team Work • Communicate, collaborate, and drive work successfully within a team environment, and building collaborative relationships across teams • Cross-team working with service, admissions, and wider sales team • Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating product and service knowledge
