About

I have worked as a professional educator for over 24 years. I am a Social Services Coordinator, as well as, a Special Education teacher specializing in creating programs for children who have difficulties learning in the General Education Classroom. I believe in inclusion for as many students as possible, and for whom it is appropriate. I train college students who are enrolled in Masters of Teaching programs and specialize in mentoring new teachers in developing lessons based on Common Core Standards. I work with K-12 students who have significant challenges with perspective taking and am able to help all of these students increase in their "Theory of Mind."
