Engineering Supervisor for Distribution and assisting with Project Management for Transmission Line projects.

Senior engineer working on a variety of transmission and distribution systems as well as fiber optic cable systems. Design experience includes full line designs, fiber connectivity between transmission lines and substations, performing engineering analysis on transmission and distribution poles, and customer install service work.

General Engineer in Transmission Reinforcement Department. Responsibilities have included: - Design of transmission structures and foundations for 69kV - 230kV transmission lines - Manage projects from start of conception to closing of the in-service forms - Perform budget and schedule estimating for transmission projects - Review design consultants design, calculations, and drawings - Develop skills in PLS-CADD and PLS-Pole - Coordinate with various departments to ensure the success of the project by having ongoing progress meetings and site visits while project is in construction - Work with outside customers and municipalities to relocate transmission structures to assist the customers - Perform emergent work for deteriorated structures and foundations

Engineer in the Civil Engineering Department. Supported Substation Engineering by the following: - Designed, modified and evaluated foundations for substation equipment which included transformers, circuit breakers, and disconnect switches. Foundations designs include modification to existing concrete foundations with steel beams or additional concrete. - Evaluated enclosed substations to improve air flow and followed masonry standards for fire protected walls. - Managed the schedule and budget for civil portions of the project with ongoing coordination meetings. - Designed to follow current sediment and erosion control standards.
