2025 is My Year of Focused Intentions: 1. Promote and speak on the content of my book, Brace Yourself: Everything You Need to Know About AFOs After Stroke 2. Teaching continuing education courses in stroke rehabilitation, particularly gait assessment and treatment interventions which naturally includes AFOs. I am an established communicator of complex clinical cases in neurorehabilitation producing 45 healthcare community entity presentations and 117 continuing education (CE) courses for 3 national CE companies, 7 major statewide hospital systems, 3 nationally known rehabilitation hospitals, 2 international physical therapy associations and numerous allied health professional associations in which the average course evaluation score was 4.5 to 5 3. Consult with individuals with stroke, their caregivers, physical therapy practitioners, and orthotist to design an AFO that will promote full engagement in daily activities for all encompassing health benefits: physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental wellness 4. Engage in daily activities that bring me fulfillment and purpose: post-stroke wellness & fitness and stroke prevention through nutrition and exercise, the latter being aquatic fitness.
