As a Senior Project Manager and Principal, I led multidisciplinary teams through complex transportation infrastructure projects across Colorado—from conceptual studies to construction documents. My work spanned roundabouts, major arterial widenings, multimodal corridors, interchanges, NEPA studies, geohazards, and safety improvements. I focused on more than just technical delivery, I was committed to building strong teams, growing client relationships, and guiding strategic direction. I successfully secured a $25M RAISE Grant for a client, positioning their project for federal construction funding. I also played a lead role in winning new work, developing proposals, and representing the firm during high-stakes client interviews. Some of the notable projects I led include: • US 40 and Floyd Hill Roundabouts Early Action – Evergreen, CO • 104th Avenue Corridor Improvements – Thornton, CO • Grand Avenue Corridor Improvements – Eagle, CO • US 6 and Post Blvd Roundabout – Avon, CO • Minturn Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements – Minturn, CO Internally, I mentored junior and mid-level roadway engineers, helping them sharpen their design skills and align with evolving industry best practices. As a Principal, I contributed to firmwide operations, including corporate planning, backlog health, and team resource strategy. I also shared my expertise nationally as a presenter at the International Conference on Roundabouts and Geometric Design.

Managing multi-disciplinary teams in developing construction documents, conceptual design studies, access control plans, and planning studies for CDOT and local agencies. Serving as transportation engineer for municipal clients to review transportation impacts as towns experience development changes. Leading public involvement programs. Assisting clients with grant applications for transportation funding.

Managed two in-house design engineers and three consultant engineering firms, providing technical guidance throughout design and construction for transportation projects. Coordinated all aspects of a project life cycle, from design conception to construction. Developed and refined project alternatives with engineers and interdepartmental support staff in a team setting for multi-million dollar highway projects, developing design refinements and cost-saving recommendations. Attended agency coordination meetings, field meetings, scoping, and inspections. Attended plan reviews and provide technical comments. Prepared advertisement packages. Planned and reviewed schedules and budgets. Coordinated and assisted in environmental document preparation. I managed the writing and development of the procurement documents, including Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP). I also managed a diverse transportation program including projects with heavy FHWA involvement, state park impacts, and complex environmental issues.

Designed plans for multiple transportation engineering design projects, including interchange design. Managed and coordinated with consultants and support sections to refine concept alternatives for a major transportation project. Managed and reviewed transportation plans and provided technical design guidance. Completed cost estimates and quantity calculations. Organized and played an active role project field meetings and inspections. Reviewed transportation project plans and provided technical comments.

Calculated quantities and cost estimates for roadway projects; completed basic design work in MicroStation; checked quantity calculations; inspected on-site construction; reviewed engineering plans. Reviewed compliance methods and construction specifications for construction projects.

Completed my Project Management Certificate in preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam.
