About
I’m a transportation engineer and project manager with over 18 years of progressive experience in multidisciplinary highway design, multimodal, and safety improvement projects across Colorado and Delaware. My career has been driven by a deep passion for innovative design, practical problem-solving, and mentorship. My technical foundation is in roadway design, leading projects that range from interstate interchanges and highway widenings to multimodal corridor improvements and ADA upgrades. I’ve managed complex efforts including roundabouts, interchanges, corridor widening, ADA and multimodal safety projects, always with a focus on client needs, community impact, and design excellence. As a roundabout expert, I’m eager to support teams in designing safe, efficient, and context-sensitive roundabouts, and to share the insights I’ve gained through years of hands-on experience. I thrive in roles where I can mentor and lead, whether guiding a team of roadway engineers through design challenges, presenting to the public, or helping towns bring their transportation goals to life through grants and strategic planning. One of the most rewarding (and fun!) projects I led was the US 40 and Floyd Hill Roundabout Interchanges, an early action effort to improve safety and operations ahead of the major Floyd Hill Reconstruction. I managed two tandem design teams working on two roundabouts at once under an aggressive schedule. We tackled complex challenges like floodplain constraints, soil nail walls, bridge limitations, and the need to blend aesthetics into a high-visibility mountain corridor. It was a fast-paced, collaborative project that highlighted exactly what I love about this work. Another rewarding chapter of my career was managing a $200M widening program for SR 1 in Delaware, which included leading the conceptual design for the state’s first diverging diamond interchange. My focus throughout my career has been serving public sector clients, and that’s where I find the most purpose and fulfillment. I enjoy helping agencies think strategically, stretch limited budgets, and deliver innovative, community-centered transportation solutions. I also bring strong public engagement experience, with a track record of leading public workshops and communicating design impacts clearly and collaboratively.

Senior Project Manager & Principal
Denver Metropolitan Area
As a Senior Project Manager and Principal, I led multidisciplinary teams through complex transportation infrastructure projects across Colorado—from conceptual studies to construction documents. My work spanned roundabouts, major arterial widenings, multimodal corridors, interchanges, NEPA studies, geohazards, and safety improvements. I focused on more than just technical delivery, I was committed to building strong teams, growing client relationships, and guiding strategic direction. I successfully secured a $25M RAISE Grant for a client, positioning their project for federal construction funding. I also played a lead role in winning new work, developing proposals, and representing the firm during high-stakes client interviews. Some of the notable projects I led include: • US 40 and Floyd Hill Roundabouts Early Action – Evergreen, CO • 104th Avenue Corridor Improvements – Thornton, CO • Grand Avenue Corridor Improvements – Eagle, CO • US 6 and Post Blvd Roundabout – Avon, CO • Minturn Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements – Minturn, CO Internally, I mentored junior and mid-level roadway engineers, helping them sharpen their design skills and align with evolving industry best practices. As a Principal, I contributed to firmwide operations, including corporate planning, backlog health, and team resource strategy. I also shared my expertise nationally as a presenter at the International Conference on Roundabouts and Geometric Design.
