▪ Collected and maintained database with patient demographic, insurance and financial information to ensure an accurate and timely registration and payment processing. ▪ Provided overview and obtained consent on hospital/patient legal forms, including advanced directives, conditions of services, consent for treatment and Medicare forms. ▪ Verified patient insurance benefits, coverage, and eligibility and address discrepancies. ▪ Managed patient out-processing to include collection of copayment, deductible and/or coinsurance in accordance with hospital policy. ▪ Managed and inventoried cash drawer according to hospital policy. ▪ Maintained current and accurate patient information in the hospitals electronic medical records database. ▪ Provided exemplary customer service to ensure the admission process was effortless for the patient and that all required documentation was transferred as necessary for the patient to receive service/treatment.
