I’m the founder of Ember & Ray, a premium kidswear brand creating tested UPF 50+ clothing inspired by my daughter Kaia, who has albinism. When I couldn’t find sun-protective pieces that felt comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully made, I decided to create them. At Ember & Ray, we design everyday pieces that help families feel more prepared for life outside, with a focus on softness, thoughtful details, and timeless design. I’d love to connect with people in kidswear, parenting, wellness, retail, media, PR, and purpose-led brands, especially those who care about thoughtful products and everyday sun safety for children.

Founded Ember & Ray to create premium UPF 50+ clothing that kids want to wear — everyday essentials designed for sun protection without compromise. Inspired by my daughter’s unique needs, we reimagined protective wear to be soft, stylish, and parent-approved, without sacrificing medical-grade performance. Key milestones and successes: Developed a full product line of sun-safe everyday clothing for children aged 3–8, tested to meet UPF 50+ standards. Built a supply chain spanning Canada and Asia, with rigorous fabric testing, sustainable packaging, and ethical production. Currently preparing for a Fall 2025 launch with an omni-channel strategy and early traction from influencer partners and micro-communities. Engaged a marketing team to craft our go-to-market, brand voice, and community-driven growth strategy. Actively exploring strategic collaborations, retail partnerships, and investment opportunities. We're open to conversations with aligned investors, distributors, and collaborators who believe in mission-led consumer brands — especially in the health, wellness, and family lifestyle space.
