Leading scientific teams to get AAV therapies to patients. Driving process improvements to accelerate nonclinical studies. Design and execution of nonclinical studies to support clinical development across multiple therapeutic areas including CNS, muscle, and kidney.

Study Director for over 100 GLP and non-GLP toxicology studies, ranging from discovery to chronic programs working with both small and large molecules, gene therapies and vaccines, as well as medical devices. Developed an enhanced training experience for new hires and mentored Study Directors. Facilitated collaborative projects across sites to bring additional opportunities including veterinary and surgical models to the site.

Developed and led Introduction to Cancer Workshop geared towards educators and the community to facilitate communication about what cancer is, improve early detection, and introduce therapeutic opportunities in rural Ohio.

Investigating 1) the distinct miRNA profiles associated with specific genetic mutations in lung cancer, 2) the mechanisms by which extracellular vesicles alter the behavior of cells to promote cancer progression and metastasis 3) Integrating multiple -omic platforms for discovery

Investigated the role of signaling pathways to dictate the metabolic requirements of cancer cell survival.
