I’m building Pressflow a PR workspace designed to help startups turn their stories into media coverage. Most founders know they need visibility, but the traditional PR world is difficult to access. Agencies are expensive, PR tools are built for professionals, and journalists receive hundreds of unfocused pitches every week. As a result, many great startup stories never reach the media. Pressflow is designed to change that. We’re building a platform that helps startups understand what makes a story newsworthy, craft their narrative, and connect with the right journalists. The goal is to make PR more accessible for founders and early-stage teams who want to manage their own media outreach. Pressflow combines three things that are usually separate: Training – practical guidance on how PR actually works, developed with insights from working journalists Tools – software to help startups craft stories, build media lists, and manage outreach Opportunities – a space where journalists can request startup stories and founders can respond Instead of cold-pitching hundreds of reporters, startups can focus on telling better stories and connecting with the journalists who are already looking for them. We’re building Pressflow to become the PR workspace for startups — helping founders move from idea → story → pitch → coverage.
