Senior Community Supervision Officer for the Georgia Department of Community Supervision responsible for the supervision of offenders sentenced to Parole or Probation. Managed a work case load of up to 400 offenders. Conducted monthly and quarterly field visits to offenders’ places of residence and employment for verification of compliance with court orders. Responsible for managing critical manufacturing process across functional teams for Advanced Armament, a $46M company, manufacturing state of the art gun suppressors, rifles, ammunition, and accessories for civilians, military and law enforcement. Cross-functional team responsibilities included: Compliance: • Report indirectly to Senior Corporate Compliance Officer • Assisted Supervisor of Administrative Services in maintaining internal spreadsheets tracking National Firearms Act (NFA) Transfers • Organizes all ATF requirements for ATF audits and internal compliance BOM Project Manager: • Report directly to VP of Operations and Finance Manager • Reviewed and documented required changes of over 150 Bill of Materials (BOMs) for all company products • Led weekly meetings to review BOM updates and production line impacts with department heads • Facilitated necessary inter-departmental changes to BOMs Inventory Control: • Conducted cycle counts (inventory audit) to ensure inventory and production line accuracy • Work with Accounting Department to take initial inventory of new components to find all missing or low components for new production line before starting first production run • Assist Staff Accountant in reconciling accounts payable invoices Production and Quality Control/Improvement: • Report indirectly to Production Manager • Conduct spot quality control checks of 30+ components • Packaging and assembly of suppressors, rifles, and accessories • Picking and shipping (include checking Special Occupational Tax and Federal Firearms License for serialized NFA items) • Work with Production Lead to reorganize warehouse to increase efficiency • Work with Continuous Improvement Engineer to build new and efficient assembly cells (line) s (line)
