Jeffrey Bruner
Director of Procurement @ Tate
About
Experienced manufacturing and procurement leader with over 20 years of expertise in sourcing, operations, and continuous improvement across industrial and building products sectors. Currently serving as Director of Procurement at Tate, I lead strategic sourcing and procurement operations across our U.S. manufacturing footprint. I oversee the procurement of key materials such as steel and aluminum, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost optimization strategies aligned with long term business goals. My focus is on building a resilient supply chain, leveraging data to inform decisions, and partnering cross functionally to ensure operational efficiency and on time project execution. Prior to joining Tate, I founded and operated JMB Consulting, where I worked with manufacturing companies to identify and implement operational improvements, reduce costs, and streamline supply chain processes. These consulting engagements included everything from procurement transformation to process improvement initiatives on the production floor delivering measurable results in both cost and efficiency. My foundational experience was developed over a 19 year career at Oldcastle APG, where I held multiple leadership roles including VP of Operations and Director of Procurement. There, I led large scale manufacturing operations, procurement teams, and plant level performance initiatives, building a deep understanding of what it takes to run efficient, profitable manufacturing environments. I’m driven by results, grounded in operational discipline, and passionate about building procurement functions that strengthen the business from the ground up.
