About
After more than 4 successful and rewarding decades dedicated to marketing research, I now am working more broadly in the late stage of my career. At Adler Solutions, LLC, I am a solopreneur focused on “tactical consulting.” I provide tactical consulting to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups. Tactical assignments focus on the short-term, often need to happen very quickly, and often focus on a “one off” situation. My 40+ years of experience running businesses enabled me to become skilled in discovery processes and reverse engineering. This uniquely qualifies me to assist clients with the need to assess an unexpected issue or problem. The independent and unbiased point of view typical of career long market research professional also makes me valuable to clients who simply can benefit from assistance in proposal development processes from an unbiased perspective outside of their organization. I have not abandoned market research completely – I have just stepped back from day-to-day involvement. After studying market research at The Wharton School and getting my early career training from Procter & Gamble, I founded Centrac DC Marketing Research in 1997. In 2014 the company became part of Veris and in 2016 it became part of Vault. I stepped back from day-to-day involvement in 2019 to focus on other interests (and to enjoy a lot more free time!). However, I continue to serve Vault as needed – advising on methodological design and other topics.

I provide tactical consulting to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups. Tactical differs from strategic and operations consulting. It focuses on the short-term, often needs to happen very quickly, and often focuses on a “one off” situation. I am looking for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups in need of tactical consulting. One example is someone needing help with a specific proposal – which may benefit from a set of independent eyes. Another example is the need to assess an unexpected issue or problem. This may benefit from an independent “discovery process.” I have over 40 years of experience running businesses and am especially skilled in discovery processes and reverse engineering.

TSSI is a startup corporation specializing in the design and development of comprehensive public safety and security solutions. Founded by a retired Marine, TSSI vision is to leverage military class technology to increase safety for law enforcement, commercial security, and the general public. The key to the technology is the ability to detect and mitigate threats safely. One current area of focus is L-SID (Law Enforcement Standoff Inspection Drone). In my consulting role, I am helping TSSI find one or more “sponsors” for L-SID. We are currently exploring sponsorships with investors and vendors. For an investor or vendor currently operating in the drone security space, partnering with TSSI potentially offers: 1. An attractive investment opportunity 2. Entrance into physical security / public safety 3. Attractive portfolio enhancement – improving current profitability and enterprise value 4. An opportunity to make a genuine improvement to public safety I am also leading TSSI’s efforts in donation-based crowd funding, and in developing sales and marketing materials.
