Provide technical leadership to the plant operation include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. Aggressively initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality/yield. 1. Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production. 2. Ensuring regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification. Responsible for determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance. 3. To resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design. 4. Participate in new product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment. 5. Develop new process and workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean manufacturing initiative. 6. Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner 7. Troubleshoot production and packaging equipment 8. Specify and expedite planned maintenance routines on all production equipment and systems Participate on the weekly cycle counts 9. Co-ordination of manufacturing releases 10. Develop production tools and databases 11. Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals 12. Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation 13. Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations. Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas.

Lead a team of managers, engineers and technicians to ensure product related performance meets business plan. The team is responsible for proliferating new products into MXA, providing feedback to assembly on electrical fallouts, managing fab or product related excursions. Major Contribution: Lead the yield team for yield enhancement and reached ~$4 Million/Year saving within limited resource plus yield analysis toolkit development Mentor and coach team members to receive quarterly MXAAA (highest Micron Xian award) 3 times within 1 year. Mentor and coach team members to receive the Micron HQ highest award(strategic project) Monitor product performance including Burn time, Test time and product yield, and collaborate with relevant groups to meet business plan. Provide timely and accurate feedback to assembly teams on SPC triggers and product performance. Qualify and proliferate new products into MXA to ensure supply chain continuity. Provide visibility to test data and drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency. Eg lot size, MAM attribute restriction, oven utilization etc. Collaborate with other functional groups on fab/product excursion material management. Responsible for development of the RF(Radio Frequency) technologies for Qorvo's BJ Corporate product engineering team. * Ensure external/internal Customer’s success * Support all Quality Activities to ensure success and on time customer response. * Maverick Lot Monitoring * Support Test Floor Expansion and ensure all testers are bought off, correlated and released in time to meet the BMP * Support all correlation efforts for the Hybrid PA,Filter,Switch etc. to ensure yield and OEE improvement * Support all product and test knowledge efforts for probe/final test into BJ * Lead TS16949 activities for product engineering team in BJ with FMEA/APQP/PPAP/MSA/SPC etc. Subordinate People: 20(Sr. engineer level) Reporting to Asia Product Engineering Director(Malaysia)
